When brainstorming and developing creative for these spots, we decided to go edgy. We were fully aware that these spots would alienate a large percentage of viewers, but based on our research, and through targeted media placement, we knew that we would reach our demo. And, we did. Motherfund received around 40 official complaints, but generated nearly 200 new clients during the commercial’s limited two-week run.
